WHEREAS, at a meeting of. the City Council of the City of Fay-
etteville, Arkansas, held on the 24th day of March, 1924, there was
presented to said City Council by J. H. McIlroy,• Harrison Hale, and
D. Y. Thomas as Board of Commissioners for Annex Number One to Univer-
sity Improvement District Number One, their plans for the proposed im-

• provement, with the estimated cost of the proposed work,as_prepared by
Ratliff & Bird, Engineers, and said plansrandtspecifications having 'CI

been examined by all members of the City Council; and it appears..from
said plans and report that the estimated cost of said improvements

exclusive of interest charges, is the sum of S/0000 , and(.
WHEREAS, the•said City Council, being satisfied that the plans, spe-
cifications and estimates are correct, and that they are feasible and
will-best--subserve=thrinterest of:the-said-Improvement:.Disttict-,_ ___
NOW, TtthREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas at its regular meeting, that said plans and es-
timates of cost and said report of Board of Commissioners be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted and that said improvement be con-
structed according to said plans and specifications, at a cost not to

exceed, exclusive of interest charges, the sum of $ /COO d
