WHEREAS, on the 10th day of March, 1924, there was duly filed with the
City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, a petition purporting
to contain the signatures of a majority in value of the owners of real
property situated in West Spring Street Improvement District Number One
of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYEPTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: That a hearing of said petition to determine whether
thoee persons who have signed said petition constitute a majority in value
of the owners of real property situated in said Improvement District will be
held by said City Council at the Mayor's Office in said City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, on the 31st day of March, 1924, beginning at 7:30 P.M. of said day.
SECTION TWO: That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
be, and he is hereby instructed and directed, to cause to be published a
notice in accordance with Section One, Act 125, Acts of Arkansas, 1913,
advising all owners of real property within West Spring Street Improvement
District Number One of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, that a petition
was presented to the said City Council , March 10th, 1924, requesting that
tthe oontemplatedimptdvement-be undertaken, and that'the"oost thereof be--
charged and assessed against the real property within said district., and
that on the 31st day of March, 1924, the said City Council will determine
whether or not said petition is signed by such majority in assessed valu-
ation.
