WHEREAS, %He Board of:Commissioners of Mont Nord Improvemen# District
Number One of 'the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, will at an early date
begin paving certainrstreete within the corporate limits of the City 'of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, which are located within said Mont Nord Improve..
ment District Number One of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas;;
WHEREAS, said Board of Commissioners do not intend,aa such Oommisse
ionera,to lay the necessary curbs and gutters along the aides of said
streets; and
WHEREAS, it is highly necessary for the protection of said streets
that curbs and gutters be properly constructed along the sides of said
streets;
NOW,:'TKEREFORE;; BE IT RESOLV BY THE CITY;COUNCIL OF THE CITY"OF
FAYETTEVIT,LE, ARKANSAS:

SECTION ONE: That the necessary curbing and guttering,be,fandtthe.

same is hereby;.ordered to be constructed and placed along ettter side of
the following streets,
to -wit:
Mock Avenue, from the North line of West Lafayette Street to the
North Line of West Maple Street; Forest Avenue, from the North line of•
West,;Lafayette Street to the North Line of David -ion Street, West Maple
Street, from the West Line of College Avenue to the East Line of Mock
Avenue; Highland Avenue,.from the North Line of West Maple Street to the
North Line of Davidson Street; Mt. Nord Street, from the Wrest Line of

owning property -abutting on the above mentioned Streets, shallbe, and they
are hereby required to so construct said curbing and guttering, and have
the same completed by -March 31, 1923.
SECTION TWOT If the owners of any property abutting on any of the
above mentioned streets shall fail or refuse to comply with the provisions
of this Resolution, in the manner and form and within the time herein
===p-rescribedItthe-said-City=-of=Fayetteville; Arkansas, may contract with
some suitable person for the construction of said curbing and guttering,
and shall let said work to the lowest bidder, after having given a ten days
notice by publication in the "Fayetteville Democrat", a daily paper publish-
ed in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, of its intention to do so when
said contract is so let. The amount paid by -said City for said work, to-
gether with the 6'per centum penalty added thereto, shall be charged against
the owner of said property; and shall be, and shall constitute a Lien against
said property, from the date of the commencement of said work.
SECTION THREM The Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, shall
cause to be published in the "Fayetteville Democrat," a daily paper publish-

SECTION FOUR: O That all Orders o Resolutions in conflict herewith, be
