Whereas; on -the :/..' d of thiarch;1921, the City
of Fayetteville,Arkansas,duly passed an Ordinance,

requiring all Telephone,Electric Light and Telegraph poles to be erected
so that one half of said poles shall be within the outside line of the
curb line of side walks and one half to be on the inside of said outside

Whereas,there is now in ctntemplation an early pavemntt of several
etreest in said City of Fayetteville; and
Whereas,it is very important that said poles be so eszt erected
before said pavement is put down;
itaptheistAmeT NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESLOVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OP FAYETTEVILLE,ARRANSAS:
Section 1. That the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company,the Fay-
Fetteville Gas & Electric Company,and the Western Union Telegraph Com-
pany,be,and they and each of them are hereby required,ordered and
directed to erect their poles on South School Street,beginning at the
corner of Prairie Avenue and South Shhooi Street and running North to
to the North side of West Mountain Street,and on West Mountain Street,
from the corner of South School Street and West Mountain Street and
running East to the Public Square/and on East Center Street,from the
corner of East Center Street and No - h East Street and running East

to the East line of College Avenue,and on College Avenue,from the
corner 6f College Avenue and East Center Street and running North to
the North Side of East Maple Street, and on East Maple Street,from the
corner of College Avenue and East Maple Street and running East to the
East Side of Mission Street,on the curb line of the side walks of
daid streets,so that one half of said poles shall be within the outside
line of said curb and one half sbhll be on

Section 2; That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville be,and
he is hereby ordered anddtrected to issue and cause to be served on each
of said Companies a sem certified copy of this Resolution.
