Summary
1. John Coleman, Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Fayetteville gave a brief
summation of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission's intent to
apply for a Coalition Brownfields Grant through the Environmental Protection
Agency and its potential impact in Fayetteville.
2. Leif Olson, Long Range-Planner for the City of Fayetteville presented on the
concept of Transfer of Development Rights and how they can be used to
encourage infill and green infrastructure development.
3. Barbara Boland, Fayetteville Natural Heritage Association described their Green
Infrastructure Planning Initiative in Northwest Arkansas, the grant they received
from the Arkansas Forestry Commission and its potential impact on the
Fayetteville Community.
