Agenda Items
• Tony Johnson, Chief of Fire Department, will discuss the burn ban issue in
Fayetteville.
• Sarah Wrede, Stormwater Engineer, will present on a new Committee that was
formed to research unconventional lawn practices (Xeriscaping, "No Mow"
lawns, etc) and how other cities address them. Sarah will formally ask for support
from the ECC and discuss the potential for having an ECC representative on the
Committee.
• Steve Cattaneo, Building Safety Director, will give an update on the Energy
Efficiency Scorecard for new residential homes in Fayetteville and the program
that has been outlined by the Mayor's Ad-Hoc Committee on Energy Efficient
Construction. Steve will also ask for support from the ECC to move forward on a
grant application from the Arkansas Energy Office.
