Airport Board Minutes
December 17th, 2015
MEMBERS PRESENT: Josh Mahony, Darryl Riddell, Marty Burggraf, Rick Bailey, Avon Haury, Bill Corley
MEMBERS ABSENT: None
OTHERS PRESENT: Rick McKinney, Paul Algee,John Roscoe/City, Summer Fallen/City, Dee McCoy/City
ITEM # 1: Welcome by: Josh Mahoney
ITEM #2: Approval of the Airport Board Minutes of the November 19, 2015 meeting
A motion to approve the October minutes was made by Bill Corley and seconded by Rick Bailey. The motion
carried.
ITEM#3: Receiving of Reports:
A. Director's Report—provided by Johnny Roscoe:
• Airport Activity-Tower operations in September were 1372—down 557 from October. Fuel
sales were lower in November compared to the previous month with 27,634 gallons sold.
• Hangar/Terminal Roof Rehab Update—Garver Engineering has completed scoping the
comprehensive roof repair project we hope to accomplish. Once we know what we will
receive from the insurance company, we will brief the board possible options.
• FAA Part 139 Inspection— Fayetteville, Drake-Field had its annual FAA Part 139 Inspection on
7-9 December. We did very well.with only a few write-ups/discrepancies which will not take
very long to correct. We are awaiting the official letter from our inspector.
B. T-hangar Report- provided by Dee McCoy,Administrative Assistant:
• The airport has (4)T-Hangars available.
C. Museum Report-provided by Rick Bailey, Museum Board Director
• New officers were elected at the December Museum Board meeting. Rick Bailey is
president, Rick McKinney is secretary,Jeff Gates is vice president and Ray is temporary
treasurer.
• The museum is in fair shape financially.
• The Museum is working on a capital campaign that will continue through the end of the
year.
• There will be Bombers back for Bikes, Blues and BBQ.

• Rick Bailey introduced Paul Algee as the newest member of the board.

• A discussion followed in regards to board members term lengths and expiration dates. A copy of
the bylaws will be sent out to each board member.
• Josh Mahony mentioned the U of A board member seat is open.
• John Roscoe attached a copy of Ken Haxel's resignation to the packet. He advised that the City
Clerk's office will advertise for the open seat vacancy in the next quarter.
