HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session at
6:00 p.m. March 24, 2016, in the City Administration Building, Room #111, Fayetteville,
AR.
Mike Emery, Chairperson called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Mike Emery, Christopher White,
Matthew Cabe and Chris Terry.
Commissioners Absent: Carma Unruh
Others Present: Deniece Smiley(Fayetteville Housing Authority), and
Rick Shelton of Coldwell, Banker Harris McHaney &
Faucette
NEW BUSINESS
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Board Meeting. Christopher White
made the motion to accept and Chris Terry seconded.
B. Approval of January 2014 FHA Program Balance Sheets & Income Statements
and February 2016 Accounts Payable Summary. Matthew Cabe made a motion to
accept and Christopher White seconded.

C. Resolution Authorizing the Hiring of a VASH Housing Specialist. Christopher
Terry made a motion and Matthew Cabe seconded.
D. Rick Shelton — Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette — Interest in
Purchase of Willow Height property. — Mr. Shelton gave brief remarks and was
invited to next month's meeting to provide more details.
E. Robert Beale & Eric Gold — RAD Specialists, Inc. — Due to weather, flight was
canceled. The parties joined the board in discussion by phone regarding the
selection of business to conduct GeoTechnical Services & Topo and ALTA
Survey. Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton and Wyatt, Inc was chosen to perform
GeoTechnical Services and Blew & Associates to provide the survey.
F. Executive Director's Report. Deniece Smiley read highlights of her report.
G. Adjournment.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned until the next Regular Board
Meeting on April 2016.
