Garland Ave was acquired with Community Development Block Grant(CDBG) funds. This property is a part of the CDBG Public Facility Program. Properties acquired with CDBG are made available through an application process to non—profits that provide services to low/mod residents in the City Of Fayetteville. Improvements to this project will the energy efficiency of the building. Improvement to be made • Windows and Roof repairs • Gutters and Sub-flooring needs to be replaced • HVAC and Plumbing, Electrical upgrades • Replace Siding,Soffit and Fascia around the building • Some interior patch and paint work DISCUSSION This project will create 20 temporary jobs that will complete the various components of this facility rehabilitation. This property is a part of the CDBG Public Facility Program and will be made available for use by a local non-profit. The number of jobs to be created or maintained by this process can not be determined at this time. The lease process will begin upon completion of the rehabilitation process.
