HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session at
6:00 p.m., March 26, 2015, in the City Administration Building, Room# 111,
Fayetteville, AR.
Mike Emery, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Chris Terry, Chris White, and Matthew Cabe
Commissioners Absent: Carma Unruh
Others Present: Deniece Smiley (Fayetteville Housing Authority), Robert Beale and
Eric Gold, RAD Conversion Specialists, LLC.
New Business
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Meeting -No corrections or changes
were made to the February Regular Meeting Minutes and the board approved
unanimously.
B. Approval of February 2015 Financial Statements -No corrections or changes were
made to the Financial Statements and the board approved unanimously.
C. Approval of Resolution No. 1012 — Resolution to Void Checks from Fayetteville
Housing Authority Funds Outstanding over Six Months From Date Of issuance —
Matthew Cabe made a motion to accept Resolution No. 1012, seconded by Chris
White.
D. Approval of Resolution No. 1013 — Resolution Adopting Revised Policies for the
Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and VASH Program — Chris Terry made the
motion to accept Resolution No. 1013, seconded by Matthew Cabe.
E. Approval of Resolution No. 1014 — Resolution Authorizing the Award of
Contract for Hillcrest Tower Sewer Line Replacement Project — Chris White
made the motion to accept Resolution No. 1014, seconded by Matthew Cabe.
F. Approval of Resolution No. 1015 — Resolution Authorizing the Award of
Contract for Morgan Manor insulation Installation — Chris Terry made the motion
to accept Resolution No. 1015, seconded by Chris White.
G. Update on RAD Conversion Project — Consultants, Bob Beale and Eric Gold,
from RAD Conversion Specialists, LLC. made a presentation describing the next
steps The Housing Authority would take upon receiving the Award for
Conditional CHAP from HUD to convert the owned Housing Authority properties
to RAD. They informed that board that another client housing authority had
recently their award and expected that we would get our notice at any time.
H. Executive Directors Report — Ms. Smiley waived verbal reading of her report but
provided progress reports from ongoing construction projects.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned until the next scheduled Regular
Meeting on April 23, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
