recommendation at the next A & P meeting. Committee is composed of Alex Jerde, Jim
Waselues, Curtis Shipley and Joe Fennel. Marilyn will call and set meeting.
• Portable Buildings
Joe brought to the attention of portable buildings popping up on Dickson Street. He asked
if there was a way an ordinance could be developed to not allow temporary buildings.
The Mayor cautioned about how the ordinance was drafted developing guidelines to
protect non-profit agencies who temporarily operate businesses, i.e., Lions Christmas
trees, Kiwanis apples, Autunmfest, etc.

Marilyn will look at other cities and the hospitality association to develop guidelines.
Other issues concern parking, taxes being paid, and health concerns.
NCAA Championships
Mayor Hanna questioned about the date for the NCAA Track Championships and a
request from the track coaches for signs at the entrances.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
