CALL TO ORDER:
The committee meeting was called to order by Joe Fennel
9:00 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce office for the purpose
of hearing funding requests for 1998.
Ben Mayes explained City Advertising and Promotion Commission
Fund and 1998 Schedule of Resources Available.
Presentations were heard from the following:
ARKANSAS AIR MUSEUM - John Kalagias requested $40,000.
SQUARE GARDENS - Susan Ferrell requested $20,000.

Hanna recommended funding all requests, second by Williams.
Motion carried. Commissioners requested that the proposed
budget worksheet be redone for meeting.
It was suggested that a panel be designed as a general
Fayetteville panel for brochure requests to cross promote
things to do in Fayetteville.
Malone said he would like to come back and talk about state
funding available for the Town Center.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
