MONTHLY REPORTS: MINUTES It was moved by Shipley, second by Hanna that the minutes of the February 12 meeting be approved. Motion carried. FINANCIAL Ben Mayes presented the financial report for February. The HMR collections were $68,507, a decrease of 3.57% from February 1995 collections. Bad weather is a probably cause of the decrease. February expenditures were $30,122. Moved by Shipley, second by Kaylor to approve the February financial report. Motion carried. ACTIVITY REPORT Marilyn Johnson reviewed February activities of Convention Visitor Development. Total inquiry responses for February were up 200% Activity included working with tour groups and monitoring of on premise consumption petition drive and exhibit hall feasibility study. Motion carried. EXHIBIT HALL/TOWN CENTER Richard Alderman (Wittenburg, Delony, & Davidson) and Dave Moulder (Coopers and Lybrand) presented preliminary findings on the Exhibit Hall/Town Center.
