1. The meeting was called to order by Michael Green.
2. Minutes of the May 22 meeting were approved.
3. Mark Blackwood reported that the Visitors Guide is
progressing but has been delayed due to unfavorable weather to
shoot the photography. Delivery should be about August 1.
Copies of the front page article in THE SUNDAY OKLA-
HOMAN were distributed to Commission members showing how our
message can get out with a little missionary work with travel
writers.
4. Jack Rash reported that the Data Disc should be
finished for review by the end of next month. Specific plans
will be developed for training input personnel.
Rash also explained a proposal for a visitor's center
being considered at the University. He suggested that we
might want to pursue using this facility for orientation pur-
poses with our disc and tape materials.
5. Tom Jordan advised the Commission that the Air
Museum had 1,000 visitors last month and 1,300 this month -
they are growing and things are looking positive.
6. Next meeting: Monday, August 28, 3 p.m. at City
Hall. (There will not be a July meeting unless a called
meeting is needed.
