Lake Sequoyah Sediment Remova/•Project The force main was installed by City crews in March 2015. The design of the basins and access roads should be completed by CH2M HILL in April 2015. b. White River Use Attainability Analysis (Minerals) We presented our data to ADEQ on March 19, 2015. We proposed a set of numbers for Chlorides, Sulfates and Total Dissolved Solids, based on the analysis, as something we could meet on a consistent basis. They had some push-back in the City's interest in using correlation analysis instead of using actual data. Our intention was to correlate for many years from present towards past, approximately 15 years. Actual data is only for 2 to 4 years. Currently, their verbal response in the meeting is to take more samples. We have not received their formal response yet. c. Ozone Disinfection System Project We have received BluelnGreen's reworked submittals for the equipment some items have been approved, and others have approval pending. The ozone equipment should be delivered to the site in late June or early July. J . L. Bryson will begin preliminary construction in May. Mailing Address: 113 W. Mountain Street www.fayetteville-ar.gov Fayetteville, AR 72701 NEW BUSINESS: a. Lift Station # 16 —Airport North - 516 West Earnest Lancaster Drive - Replacement Pumps This project will replace the two existing 40+ year old pumps with two new Chicago CP4103 Dry Pit Submersible Pumps from the low bidder Evans Enterprises for $42,000 plus tax (total should be around $49,000). We have these same style pumps at LS # 14 — Industrial Park and have had very good success with them. We would like to ask the Committee to forward this purchase to the full Council for approval. b. Channel Monster Repair - Lift Station # 7 — Hamestring — 2065 North Sunshine Road - Replacement Pumps This project will repair the original channel monster which we will then have available in case of another catastrophic failure. These units provide significant protection for the seven high capacity and extremely expensive pumps at the Hamestring lift station. Repair of this unit can only be performed by the original manufacturer at their location in Georgia. We are therefore requesting that the Committee forward for approval the estimated $39,000 repair cost plus a 10% contingency as well as sole source justification for the repair to be performed by JWC Environmental.
