OLD BUSINESS/UPDATES:
a. Lake Sequoyah Sediment Removal Project
We are continuing on the design of the project, and should be acquiring a grading permit in
April, 2015.
b. White River Use Attainability Analysis (Minerals)
We have a meeting scheduled with ADEQ on February 18, 2015 to discuss the current
status and next steps in this process.
c. Ozone Disinfection System Project
Update status of submittals and overall schedule.
d. Pretreatment Ordinance
The first reading on passage of the revised ordinance was held at the January 20'" Council
Meeting. The second reading was held at the February 31 Council Meeting. The ordinance
is currently out on Public Notice, and the third reading and Public hearing will be held during
the February 17'" Council Meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:
a. 1-49 & Garland Water and Sewer Relocation Design, Professional Engineering
Services Contract Garver, LLC
The 1-49 & Garland water and sewer relocation design is required for the planned AHTD
interchange improvements (Job BB0414). Garver LLC was selected by a formal Engineering
Selection Committee to perform the design of the water and sewer relocations associated
with the interchange construction. A contract for final design has been negotiated with
Garver LLC in the amount of$102,742.50. The contract has been reviewed by the AHTD
Utilities Division. Due to the short time available, (final plans are due to AHTD on April 1,
2015) this design contract is being presented to the February 10, 2015 Agenda Session and
the February 17, 2015 City Council meeting. The $102,742.50 contract is in addition to the
previous $19,500.00 contract with Garver to prepare preliminary plans and preliminary
estimates.
Based upon the preliminary design, the current estimate for the utility relocation is
$2,662,580.00. The current reimbursement ratio estimate is 72.3% reimbursable from
AHTD. The actual reimbursement ration will be negotiate with AHTD after the plan submittal
on April 1, 2015.
b. Regional Park Bid Award Discussion
The Construction bids were opened on February 6 and the bid results will be discussed.
The proposed construction contract will be presented at the February 24, 2015 Agenda
Session and the March 3, 2015 City Council Meeting.
An amendment to the design contract with Garver LLC, to add Construction Phase
Services, including required construction observation, in the additional amount of
$71,200.00 will be presented at the February 24,2015 Agenda Session and the
March 3, 2015 City Council Meeting.
