Longer Investments: • Report Firemen's Pension &Relief Fund Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes June 30,2005 Page i of 2 Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes June 30, 2005 A meeting of the Fayetteville Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund was held at 11 :00 AM on June 30, 2005 in Room 326 of the City Administration Building. Mayor Coody called the meeting to order. Present: Mayor Coody, Danny Farrar, Pete Reagan, Marion Doss, Dennis Ledbetter, Ronnie Wood, Sondra Smith City Clerk, David Whitaker Assistant City Attorney and Marsha Farthing Accounting. Approval of the Minutes: Pete Reagan moved to approve the May 26, 2005 minutes. Danny Farrar seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed 6-0. Ronnie Wood was absent during the vote. Approval of the Pension List: Mayor Coody: Are there any changes to the July Pension List? Pete Reagan: Yes there is. Marion Doss: Pete Reagan's DROP is up and he will be moved from the DROP List to the Retired List. Sondra Smith: The Accounting Department has moved Pete from DROP to Retired on the July Pension List. Mayor Coody: Are there any other changes that need to be made on the Pension List? Marion Doss moved to approve the July, 2005 Pension List. Dennis Ledbetter seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed 6-0. Ronnie Wood was absent during the vote. Old Business: Pete Reagan Travel Reconciliation Completion Pete Reagan: I have completed the reconciliation and given it to Sondra today. Firemen's Pension&Relief Fund Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes June 30,2005 Page 2 of 2 Nichols & Campbell, P.A. - Income Tag Refund for Retirees Sondra Smith: Accounting is still compiling the information and plans to have it complete in July. We will send the information to each person to verify as soon as the Accounting Department has it completed. TIF Lawsuit — Copy of the answer that was filed A copy of the TIF Lawsuit answer hat was filed was given to the Board. New Business: Peter T. Reagan Retirement Marion Doss: Pete has completed his DROP. Sondra Smith: We need a motion to approve his retirement. Marion Doss moved to approve Pete Reagan's retirement. Dennis Ledbetter seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed unanimously. NCPERS May 12, 2005 Meeting Minutes A copy of the minutes from this meeting was given to the Board. Other: Marion Doss: I guess we should note that Dennis Ledbetter is replacing Robert Johnson's position on the Pension Board due to the elections in May 2005. Longer Investments Report: A copy of the current investment report was given to the Board. Meeting Adjourned at 11 :06 AM.
