STREET COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA
The City of Fayetteville Street Committee will be meeting in Room 326 of City Hall at 5:15 pm
or immediately following the City Council Agenda Session on Tuesday, March 31, 2009. The
following topics proposed for discussion at the committee meeting include:
1. Call meeting to order by Chairman Robert Ferrell.
2. GARLAND AVENUE WIDENING PROJECT (NORTH STREET TO MELMAR): Discussion
of the preliminary plans and a presentation of the traffic model prepared by the Arkansas Highway
&Transportation Department for the various road configurations. This item was tabled at the
February 2,2009 Street Committee Meeting.
3. MOUNT COMFORT ROAD-CONTRACT 2: Discussion of a resolution to authorize execution
of Amendment No. 3 to the Engineering Contract with Garver Engineers, LLC in an amount not to
exceed $253,588.00 for bidding and construction phase services for Contract 2 of the Mount
Comfort Road Improvement Project.
4. RUPPLE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS (NORTH OF WEDINGTON DRIVE) Discussion of
resolutions authorizing the City Attorney to seek condemnation on certain lands owned by Patrick
J. Tobin, Trustee of the Patrick J. Tobin Revocable Living Trust and Westside Storage, Inc.
5. TOWNSHIP STREET IMPROVEMENTS (COLLEGE AVE. TO GREGG AVE.) Discussion of
a resolution authorizing the City Attorney to seek condemnation on certain lands owned by Patrick
J. Tobin, Trustee of the Patrick J. Tobin Revocable Living Trust.
6. ROLLING HILLS DRIVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS: Discussion of bids received to
improve the drainage on Rolling Hills Drive at the Missouri Creek crossing near Old Missouri
Road.
7. WYMAN ROAD TRAFFIC ISSUE: Discussion of traffic on Wyman Road near Stonebridge
Intersection.
8. General Update of the Transportation Bond Program.
9. Scheduling of the next Street Committee Meeting. Staff recommends scheduling the next meeting
for April 28", 2009 after the City Council Agenda Session.
