Building.

I also want to go ahead and pass along the following information so it is available to all 3 firms that will be
interviewing:
The three firms selected for an Interview include Arvest Asset Management, First Security Bank, and Garrison
Financial. This project is for the Fire Department Pension and Relief fund so the committee is composed of
the board of trustees,elected by the members of the fund. Therefore, the board and selection committee are
both composed of the following:
Chairman: Mayor Lioneld Jordan
Secretary: Sondra Smith, City Clerk
Position 1: Marion Doss, Retired Firefighter
Position 2: Pete Reagan, Retired Firefighter
Position 3: Dennis Mullens, Retired Firefighter
Position 4: Ron Wood, Retired Firefighter
Please be advised it is against City policy do discuss the project with any committeelboard member. Let me know

All interviews for this project will be held on Wednesday, December 7th,2011 at the City Administration Building,Third
Floor, Room 326, 113 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville,AR, 72701,
The interview room is set with media capabilities including a computer and projector(laptops can be connected to the
projector). Interview times will be set by first request,via response to this e-mail. The following interview times are
available:
Interview V.3:00 PM-3:30 PM
Interview#2:3:30 PM-4:00 PM
Interview#14:00 PM-4:30 PM
Please respond via e-mail with your first and second choice. 1 will reply to let you know what time your interview
has been scheduled for.
The selection committee is composed of the board members on the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund Board of
Trustees. There is a possibility non-voting City staff members might be added for the interviews.
All firms are requested to provide a brief overview of the company and address the questions listed below. Each
interview is scheduled for 30 minutes. Please limit your company review to no longer than 15 minutes. The other 15
minutes has been set for questions from the board.
The following auestions will be addressed during the interview:
1. Describe your understanding of State statutes relating to the Firemen's Pension Fund.
2. What is your firm's track record on asset preservation of trust funds?
3. If you were managing this fund would you invest where your firm is the market maker? If so,under what
circumstances?
4. What holdings would you immediately recommend to change based on the current investments and actuarial
report?
5. What is your firm's corporate policy on investment research and investment considerations?
6. Do you have any complaints filed against you at either the Federal or State level? If so,please explain.
7. If given the opportunity,who would you recommend for custodial services,your firm,another provider,or the
current provider?
