HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session at
6:00 p.m. February 25, 2016, in the City Administration Building, Room #111,
Fayetteville, AR.
Mike Emery, Chairperson called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Mike Emery, Christopher White,
Matthew Cabe and Chris Terry.
Commissioners Absent: Canna Unruh
Others Present: Deniece Smiley(Fayetteville Housing Authority), and
Angela Rockmore, member of the local chapter NAACP
NEW BUSINESS
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Board Meeting.
B. Approval of December 2015 Balance Sheets and January 2016 Financial
Statements. Chris White made the motion to accept the financial records as
submitted and Matthew Cabe seconded. The vote was carried unanimously.
C. Approval of Resolution No. 1043 — Authorizing the Award of Contract for Lawn
Care Maintenance for Public Housing Sites for a Period of Five Years from
February 1, 2016 to January 31.2021. Matthew Cabe made a motion to approve
Resolution No. 1043 and Chris Terry seconded the motion and the vote was
carried unanimously.
D. Executive Director's Report. Brief remarks were made about the progress of the
RAD (Rental Assistance Demonstration) project.
E. Adjournment.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned until the next Regular Board
Meeting on March 2016,
