The motion carried.
ITEM # 3: Receiving of Reports:
A. Director's Report — provided by Johnny Roscoe:
Airport Activity —the tower operations is down by 39 %. This was due to bad weather in February
and also SkyVenture Aviation closing. We will work closely with the tower to track the numbers
over the next several months to better evaluate the effect of SkyVenture closing.
With their closing, there is currently no Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) located in NWA.
T -Hangar Survey update - emailed 95 surveys, with 39 responding. The feedback was positive and
we will create an actionable list and review the survey results at the next board meeting.
B. Budget Report —provided by James Nicholson:
Fuel sales were up in January & February 2015 and are up 23% for the same time period last year.
If fuel sales continue as projected, the year-end estimate is 416,069 gallons.
The Airport Fund balance was improved by $ 104,281 which is a positive result.
C. T -Hangar Report -provided by Mary Anne Regan:
T -Hangars are at full capacity and all are currently rented, which includes 3-4 new tenants.
There are approximately 4 storage units.
D. Design Report - provided by Wayne Jones:
Wayne advised they are working with the City staff estimating the apron rehab cost and checking if
the city can do any in-house. It appears there will be some attractive pricing that the City can assist
with — allowing utilization of a State grant instead of a Federal grant and thus use the Federal grant
monies for some other larger project in the future.
E. Museum Report - provided by Rick McKinney:
The H-21 Helicopter that was donated by the Hall family has been moved from the Flying
Investments hangar and is now beautifully displayed in the Museum hangar. The Museum has an
offer from the Canadians to purchase the Queen, which is of Canadian origin. The Canadians will
