HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
The Housing Authority of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas met in Regular Session at
6:00 p.m. August 27, 2015, in the City Administration Building, Room #111,
Fayetteville, AR.
Mike Emery, Chairperson called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Christopher White, Matthew Cabe, and Carma Unruh
Commissioners Absent: Chris Terry
Others Present: Deniece Smiley (Fayetteville Housing Authority)

NEW BUSINESS
A. Approval of Minutes of Previous Regular Board Meeting. Commissioner White
brought to the attention two errors and the board then accepted the minutes as
presented.
B. Approval of July 2015 Financial Statements. No corrections or changes were
made to the July 2015 Financial Statements and the Board Approved unanimously.
C. Approval of Resolution # 1024 — Amending The Employee Handbook attached to
The Personnel Policy for The Fayetteville Housing Authority — Matthew Cabe
made a motion to accept Resolution #1024, seconded by Christopher White.
D. Approval of Resolution # 1025 — Adopting Revised Utility Allowances for The
Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and The VASH Program —
Christopher White made a motion to accept Resolution #1025, seconded by
Matthew Cabe.
E. Approval of Resolution #1026 — Approving Public Housing Operating Reserve
Expenditure to closeout Hillcrest Towers Masonry Renovations — Matthew Cabe
made a motion to accept Resoluton#1026, seconded by Christopher White.
F. Executive Director's Report. Deniece Smiley hit the highlights of her previously
submitted written report.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned until the next scheduled Regular
Board Meeting on September 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
