Watson said these were the numbers that were requested at the
last meeting.
Paul added that it was a lot of money.
Jumper agreed, and said Humphry provided the numbers.
S. Other Business:
Watson read the upcoming events. He asked how many kickball
teams there were.
Jumper said there were around 30.
Watson said that was great.
Paul asked how the disc golf course was coming along.
Jumper said it's doing great, and added that an article was in the
paper recently about it.
Maxwell said that on October 8, Alan Edmondson is speaking
about his fieldwork for his thesis, and about the trees located on
Mt. Kessler that are over 300 years old. The presentation is at the
Fayetteville Public Library at 5:30 pm. Also, a guy is interested in
doing a drum circle in Fayetteville and is considering Gulley Park.
Proffitt asked what a drum circle was.
Maxwell said it's a group of drummers doing something like a jam
session. The group enjoys people listening to them as well as
wanting to join in. He said he thought the gentleman had visited
with Parks about it.
Jumper said he had come in to discuss it.
Steve Schneider, with the Off the Road Cyclists, added that the
