MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE
SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE
A regular meeting of the Fayetteville Subdivision Committee was held on June 27, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.
in Room 326 of the City Administration Building, 113 W. Mountain, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

LSD 13-4414: Large Scale Development (1851 E. HUNTSVILLE RD./KUM AND GO, 565):
Submitted by CEI ENGINEERING for property located at 1851 EAST HUNTSVILLE ROAD. The
property is zoned C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL and contains approximately 1.93 acres.
The request is to build a 4,991 square foot gas station with associated parking.
Jesse Fulcher, Current Planner, read the staff report.
Glenn Newman, Staff Engineer, noted that detention would not be required, since the site was already
paved. They will review water quality measures.
Megan Dale, Urban Forester, recommended tabling the request. The applicant still needs to provide
information about the existing street trees, and the landscape plan does not meet code.
Nathan Street, applicant, noted that the comments were valid, but that they could make the necessary
revisions and be ready for the Planning Commission meeting.
Commissioner Pennington asked staff what options he had to move the project forward.
Andrew Garner, Senior Planner, noted that the bylaws required an item to be forwarded when there
is only one member.
No public comment was presented.
Motion:
Commissioner Pennington made a motion to forward LSD13-4414 to the Planning
Commission with no recommendations.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:35 AM.
