Mountain St. Fayetteville,AR 72701 Telephone:501-575-8264 AGENDA FOR A REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION A meeting of the Fayetteville Planning Commission will be held January 11, 1999 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Administration Building, 113 West Mountain Street, Room 219, Fayetteville,Arkansas. The following items will be considered: Consent Agenda: 1. Approval of minutes from the December 14, 1998 meeting. 1. (A) VA 98-13.00: Vacation (Gies,pp 404) was submitted by Andre and Marci Gies for property located at Cedar Street, Block B of the Carver-Larimore addition. The request is to vacate a portion of Cedar Street east of Stephens Avenue. 1. (B) LSD 98-36.00: Large Scale Development (Washington Regional Medical Center,pp 250, 211)was submitted by Kurt Jones of Crafton, Tull and Associates on behalf of Washington Regional Medical Center for property located north of Appleby Road and west of Northhills Boulevard. The property is currently zoned A-1, Agricultural; C-2, Thoroughfare Commercial; and R-O, Residential Office, and contains approximately 45.47 acres. Old Business: 2. Amendments to the Master Street Plan 3. CU 95-39.00: Conditional Use (Hayes,pp 562)was submitted by Terry Hayes for property located at 802 South School Street. The property is zoned C-2, Thoroughfare Commercial, and the request is for a vehicle storage lot. The conditional use was granted December 11, 1995 and is being brought before the Planning Commission to review conditions of approval. New Business: 4. Presentation and Panel Discussion regarding CMN Business Park H, Phase H from Travis James of USDA and Johnny Gonzales &Katie Teague of the Washington County Extension service regarding EPA grant 1319 providing for education in preserving Mud Creek watershed. 5. RZ 98-23.00: Rezoning (Washington Regional Medical Center, pp 250, 211) was submitted by Kurt Jones of Crafton, Tull and Associates on behalf of Washington Regional Medical Center for property located north of Appleby Road and west of Northhills Boulevard. The property contains approximately 19.45 acres and is currently zoned A-1, Agricultural. The request is to rezone the property to R-O, Residential Office. 6. CU 98-27.00: Conditional Use (Washington Regional Medical Center, pp 250, 211) was submitted by Kurt Jones of Crafton, Tull and Associates on behalf of Washington Regional Medical Center for property located north of Appleby Road and west of Northhills Boulevard. The property is currently zoned A-1, Agricultural; C-2, Thoroughfare Commercial; and R-O, Residential Office, and contains approximately 45.47 acres. The request is to allow a medical center. This request is contingent on the approval of RZ 98-23.00. 7. RZ 98-22.00: Rezoning(Littlefield Investment Co.,pp 565)was submitted by Richard Osborne on behalf of Littlefield Investment Company for property located at 1798 East Huntsville Road. The property is zoned C-1,Neighborhood Commercial, and contains approximately 0.788 acres. The request is to rezone the property to C-2, Thoroughfare Commercial. 8. RZ 98-24.00: Rezoning (Laningham,pp 444)was submitted by Deborah and Calvin Laningham for property located at 731 North Leverett Avenue. The property is zoned C-1,Neighborhood Commercial, and contains approximately 0.40 acres. The request is to rezone the property to R-3, High Density Residential. All interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearings. A copy of the proposed amendments and other pertinent data are open and available for inspection in the Office of City Planning (575-8264), City Administration Building, 113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
