A meeting of the Firemen's Pension and Relief Board was held on Monday,
March 1, 1982, at 4:30 p.m. in the City Manager's Office, City Administration
Building, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701.
PRESENT: City Manager Don Grimes, Chief Paul Logue, Larry Freedle, John Dill,
Ralph Tate, Robert Johnson, Treasurer Scott Linebaugh, and Secretary Sherry Rowe.
ABSENT: None
CALL TO ORDER
City Manager Don Grimes called the meeting to order.
MINUTES
The minutes of the February 1, 1982, meeting were approved as submitted.
PENSION LIST
There were no changes to the pension list for March. Motion was made
and seconded to approve the pension list. The motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
There was no old business.
NEW BUSINESS
Chief Paul Logue introduced the acknowledgement and awarding of 20
Year Service Certificates to Dwayne N. McChristian and Arnold King.
Mr. McChristian has been a part -paid fireman for 20 years ending
on February 15, 1982. Mr. McChristian has applied for retirement as of
February 15, 1982.
Motion was made and seconded to acknowledge and approve the 20 Year
Service Certificate and the vesting interest in the retirement fund for
Mr. Dwayne N. McChristian effective February 15, 1982. The monthly
retirement shall be $45.,00 per month.
There being no further discussion, the motion passed unanimously.
Motion was made and seconded to approve the 20 Year Service Certificate
and vesting interest of Mr. Arnold King in the retirement fund of the
Fayetteville Fire Department.
There being no further discussion, the motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further discussion, the meeting adjourned at 4:40 p.m.
