RELIEF FUND BOARD
January 9, 1978
PRESENT: Chairman Donald Grimes, Secretary Darlene Westbrook, Treasurer Pat
Tobin, Fire Chief Paul Logue, Roy Cate, Troy Schader, Marion Doss,
and Dennis Mullens
ABSENT: None
The Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund Board met on January 9, 1978, at 4:45 p.m.,
in the Office of theCity Manager. Chairman Grimes called the meeting to order.
There being no amendments necessary for the December 5, 1977 minutes, Troy
Schader moved they be acceptedas submitted. The motion was seconded by Marion
Doss and carried unanimously.
Dennis Mullens, seconded by Roy Cate, moved the pension list for January, 1978 be
approved. The motion carried unanimously.
The Treasurer reported that no investments had matured and that approximately
$10,000 in cash was on hand. He reported that interest for investments had been
received at the end of the year and was yet to be posted to the fund. If the
interest resulted in a large cash balance, the Board agreed that the Treasurer
would consult the Fire Chief regarding possible investment.
There being no further business, Troy Schader, seconded by Dennis Mullens, moved
the meeting adjourn. The Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
