AND RELIEF FUND BOARD May 2, 1977 The Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund Board met on May 2, 1977 at 4:30 p.m., in the City Manager's Office. PRESENT: Treasurer Pat Tobin; Secretary Darlene Westbrook; and Board members Marion Doss, Dennis Mullens, Howard Boudrey, Dean Harris, and Acting Fire Chief Paul Logue. ABSENT: Chairman Donald Grimes. The meeting was called to order with Treasurer Pat Tobinpresiding. Minutes of the April 4, 1977 meeting had been distributed to members prior to the meeting. Dean Harris, seconded by Dennis Mullens, moved the minutes be approved as sub- mitted. The motion carried unanimously. Treasurer Pat Tobin recommended the Board deposit $23,000 from the cash fund into a savings account at Northwest National Bank at an interest rate of five percent. On or about May 11, 1977, the bank would combine the $23,000 with a $7,000 certificate of deposit to make a $30,000 certificate for a period of one year at an interest rate of 611 percent. Howard Boudrey, seconded by Marion Doss, moved the recommendation be approved. The motion passed unanimously. Howard Boudrey, seconded by Dennis Mullens, moved approval of the May pension list. The motion carried unanimously. The Board acknowledged receipt of the first quarterly report for 1977. There being no further business, and with the Board's concurrence, the meeting was adjourned.
