FUND BOARD
October 4, 1976
The regular monthly meeting of the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund
Board was held October 4, 1976 at 4:30 p.m. in the City Controller's
Office.
PRESENT: Chairman Donald Grimes; Treasurer Pat Tobin; Secretary Darlene
Westbrook; and Board members Marion Doss, Howard Boudrey, and
Dennis Mullens.
ABSENT: Fire Chief Charles McWhorter and Dean Harris
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Grimes. Minutes of the 1
September 7, 1976 meeting had been distributed to members of the Board
prior to the meeting. Howard Boudrey, seconded by Marion Doss, moved
the minutes be approved as submitted. The motion carried.
Howard Boudrey, seconded by Dennis Mullens, moved that the October
pension list be approved. The motion carried.
The Treasurer reported that he had reinvested $68,000 at First Federal
Savings and Loan for one year at an interest rate of 7 percent. Dennis
Mullens, seconded by Howard Boudrey, moved the investment be ratified.
The motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business for consideration, Howard Boudrey, seconded
by Marion Doss, moved the meeting be adjourned. The motion carried and
the Chairman adjourned the meeting.
