FUND BOARD
September 7, 1976
The regular meeting date having fallen on a legal holiday, the regular
monthly meeting of the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund Board was held
September 7, 1976, in the City Manager's Office at 4:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Chairman Don Grimes; Treasurer Pat Tobin; Secretary Darlene
Westbrook; and Board members Fire Chief Charles McWhorter,
Marion Doss,Howard Boudrey, and Dennis Mullens.
ABSENT: Dean Harris
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Grimes. Minutes of the August
9, 1976 meeting had been distributed to members of the Board prior to the
meeting. Chief McWhorter, seconded by Howard Boudrey, moved the minutes
be approved as submitted. The motion carried unanimously.
Marion Doss, seconded by Dennis Mullens, moved the pension list be approved
for the month of September. The motion carried unanimously.
The Treasurer reported he had reinvested $25,000 for one year at Northwest
National Bank for an interest rate of 7.62%. He also reported that the
fund had a cash balance of $5,800. Chief McWhorter, seconded by Howard
Boudrey, moved that the investment be ratified. ..The motion carried
unanimously.
There being no further business for consideration, Chief McWhorter,
seconded by Dennis Mullens, moved the meeting be adjourned. The motion
carried unanimously.
