MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE
SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE
A regular meeting of the Fayetteville Subdivision Committee was held on August 13, 2009 at 9:00
a.m. in Room 326 of the City Administration Building, 113 W. Mountain, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

LSP 09-3391: Lot Split (J.B. Hays, 437): Submitted by WILLIAM JENKINS for property located
at 4904 PERSIMMON STREET. The property is zoned R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL
and contains approximately 5.99 acres. The request is to divide the subject property into two tracts
of 2.00 and 3.99 acres.
Jesse Fulcher, Current Planner, read the staff report and recommended approval of the request with
conditions.
Matt Casey, Assistant City Engineer, stated that the house needed to be connected to a public sewer
main prior to recordation.
Bill Jenkins (applicant) stated that the house was already connected, and the house is not on septic.
No public comment was received.
Commissioner Trumbo asked if staff wanted to verify the sewer connection.
Casey stated that staff will field verify the connection, and if required, the applicant shall connect to
the sewer main on Broyles Road prior to recordation.
Motion:
Commissioner Zant made a motion to approve the request with conditions, including the
requirement to verify sewer access and for the owner to connect if required. Commissioner
Trumbo seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by a vote of 3-0-0.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:05 AM.
