Summary
1. Committee members pared the "Topics of Interest" list from the January meeting
based on community feedback and their own areas of interest.
2. Developed Vision statement for 2009.
3. Identified action items to pursue before the March meeting.
2009 Vision Statement:
Facilitate environmental awareness and capacity for improvement by supporting
Fayetteville Vision 2020 and its guiding principles through local food, conservation and
transportation initiatives.
2009 Topics of Interest:
• Local Food
• Watershed Conservation
• Transportation
Action Items:
• Review "Summary Reports" describing ongoing initiatives in the Fayetteville
community and provide input (reports are forthcoming)
• Review 2020 Guiding Principles (attached)
• Develop project list via email in order to begin tangible work in March
