A meeting of the Fayetteville Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund was held at 11:00 AM on
September 25, 2007 in Room 326 of the City Administration Building
Mayor Coody called the meeting to order.
Present: Mayor Coody, Pete Reagan, Marshall E. Mahan, Gene Warford, Ronnie Wood,
Trish Leach & Wendy Moore, Accounting, City Clerk Sondra Smith, Assistant City
Attorney David Whitaker.
Absent: Marion Doss.
Approval of the Minutes:
Approval of the August 30, 2007 Meeting Minutes
Pete Reagan moved to approve the August 30, 2007 Meeting Minutes. Marshall E. Mahan
seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed 6-0. Marion Doss was absent.
Approval of the Pension List:
Approval of the October, 2007 Pension List
Mayor Coody: Are there any changes?
Sondra Smith: No changes.
Gene Warford moved to approve the October, 2007 Pension List. Pete Reagan seconded
the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed 6-0. Marion Doss was absent.

Old Business:
Dennis Mullens retirement classification (Tabled from the August 30, 2007 meeting.)
Gene Warford moved to table Dennis Mullen's Retirement Classification to the October
meeting. Pete Reagan seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed 6-0. Marion
Doss was absent.
Pension Protection Act (Tabled from the August 30, 2007 meeting)
Pete Reagan moved to table Pension Protection Act to the September meeting. Gene
Warford seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed 6-0. Marion Doss was
absent.
New Business:
NCPERS Dues
Pete Reagan move to pay 2008 yearly dues of $150.00. Marshall E. Mahan seconded the
motion. Upon roll call the motion passed 6-0. Marion Doss was absent.
Longer Investments:
Monthly Report
A copy of the Longer Investments monthly report was given to the board.
Mayor Coody: Is there any news on this?
Pete Reagan: It's up a little bit.
