HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-06-11 MinutesThe Fayetteville Public Library Board of Trustees held the regularly scheduled
meeting on June 11, 1984. Members present were Robbin Anderson, Jane House,
Lois Miller and Margaret Salassi.
The financial and statistical reports were presented and accepted (attached).
Miss Harrisn reported that it was possible to save the maple tree in the front
yard, at least for the time being.
Mrs. Miller suggested that a new coffee maker for the auditorium be purchased
from petty cash.
There was a general discussion of the 1983 audit. Dr. Anderson stated that the
inclusion of the Endowment Fund, though important, seemed to indicate that the
library has more than 146,000 in the Endowment Fund to spend when in fact it is
only earned interest that is available.

Miss Harrison admitted a general lack of knowledge conglerning the insurance
coverage for the building. The Board asked the librarian to learn about the
coverage on the building, the contents, and liability.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
