Board of Directors
The Board met on Jan. 11 for its regular monthly meeting, with
all members present. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved
as circulated.
The annual audit, prepared by Doris Cook, CPA, was presented to
the board, along with the financial and statistical reports prepared by
the library staff for Dec., 1981 and for the last quarter, the second
half, and the full year 1981.
Mrs. Foster reported that the initial surveys of our budget proposals
apparently indicated these are in accordance with the city's guidelines
for 1982. However, the City Board, because of other problems, is not
expecting to complete work on the budget for some time.
Approval was given to proceed with certain repairs which are necessary
because of cracks in some windows.
There being no further business, the meeting was then adjourned.
