Home My WebLink About1981-05-11 MinutesFAYETTEVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY Board of Directors The Board met for its regular meeting on May 11 with all members present except Mr. Parker. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as circu- lated. Mr. Paul Heerwagen asked to be heard for a few minutes to present to the board a suggestion that the library try to provide a small travelling paperback collection for the hospital. After some preliminary discussion, Mrs. Brewer undertook to check with the hospital to determine what sort of arrangement might be possible, in cooperation with the hospital's auxiliaries ( and also noting that there are two hospitals that might be considered. The regular monthly reports were then received as well as a summary of plans for the Summer Reading Program. The election of officers was held with the following chosen to serve for the coming year: Chairman: Martha Brewer Secretary: Robbin Anderson Treasurer: Lois Miller The meeting was then adjourned.
