MINUTES
May 13, 1980
The Fayetteville Public Library Board of Directors met at 4:00 p.m.
on Monday, May 13, 1980. Members present were Bob Rains, Mrs. Hugh '
Brewer, Jr., Robbin Anderson, and David Parker.
The Librarian's and Treasurer's Reports were presented and are attached.
Linda Foster presented plans and bids for a closet in the Staff Room
and for a door between the Children's section and th, Ozarks Regional Library.
The Board requested alternate bids for both plans before awarding the jobs.
Linda Foster presented job descriptions for the library employees and
a cot of the current Pay Plan for the City of Fayettevilb employees. Mr.
Rains recommended that he and Linda Foster visit with Mr. Grimes to discuss
some of the employee benefits and pay plan which are currently not offered to
library employees.
Martha Brewer introduced a motion to re-elect Bob Rains as Chairman.
Dr. Anderson seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Dr. Anderson
accepted the nomination for Secretary.
In other business, Martha Brewer volunteered to contact some exterminators
for estimates on a contract for termite and pest control since recently there
has been evidence for the need for this service.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
