MINUTES
April 14, 1980
The Fayetteville Public Library Board of Directors met at
4:00 p.m. on April 14, 1980. Members present were Bob Rains,
Martha Brewer, and Robbin Anderson.
The Librarian's and Treasurer's Reports were presented (see attached).
Continuing the discussion from the March meeting concerning the
fee for the use of the auditorium, Mrs. Foster reported that it costs
.40 cents per day for utilities in the auditorium. Mr. Rains introduced
a motion to increase the fee from 35.00 to $7.50. The motion was
seconded by Mrs. Brewer and passed unanimously.
After discussion, the Board agreed to plant a tree on the library
grounds in honor of the services rendered by Mrs. Jack A. Wood during
her term on hte Library Board.
In other business, the Board requested written job descriptions for
library imployees so that they may be compared with duties and salaries
of city employees.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
