the library, March 14 , 1977. Members present were: Bill Bassett,
Dottie Wood, Martha Brewer and George Shelton.
-cers elected by acclimation for 1977-1978 are:
President: Dottie Wood
Secretary: Martha Brewer
Treasurer: Narni Murphy
Mrs. Foster reported that J.C. Ketterman, U of Ark. DPS has refused
to return a library book that was specifically ordered for him.
He has ignored a letter by the city attorney. Mr. Shelton 10.11
contact Larry Slamons.
Mrs. Keith and Mrs . Wright will visit the geneology departments
of the Jonesboro and Pine Bluff libraries. Motion made and carried
to pay their expenses.
Cathy Hurt was hired to fill position #2. The downstairs door stops
need to be removed as they are a hazard.
Mrs. Murpht's report was given by Mrs. Brewer. The audit expense
was approved and the Blue Cross -Blue Shield increase will be divided
equally.
Mrs. Wright reported that the regionaly workshop will be held in
April a't>>Mulberry. She presented to the board the final copy of
the libary's Need for Space. Mrs. Bassett will invite Donald Grimes
to the next board meeting.

Mzs. Murphy's treasurer's report attached and noted.
Meeting adjourned 5 PM.
