HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-11-08 MinutesThe Board of Trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library met at the
Library, November 8, 1976 at 4:00 P.M. Members present were: Bill Bassett,
Dottie Wood, Martha Brewer, George Shelton, and Narni Murphy.
Mrs. Keith gave the monthly report. There was some discussion about overdue
books but this is not a major problem.
Mr. Powell inspected the east lot in regards to paving. Mrs. Brewer answered
the questionaire to ALTA and we did not join.
Mr. Murphy presented the 1977 budget. Motion was made by Mrs. Murphy that
the budget be approved, second by Mr. Shelton. Passed unanimously.
Mr. Shelton questioned the possibility of the minimum wage going to $3.00
per hour. Mrs. Murphy said that there is no allowance in the budget.
Mrs. Keith will buy a chair and desk for the Genealogy Department. Mrs. Murphy
gave the October Treasurer's Report.
