library, February 9, 1976 at 4:00 P.M. Members present were: M. Brewer,
N. Murphy and D. Wood.
Members present decided to discuss January agenda when the remaining board
members were present.
Carol Wright reported that she talked with RSVP for volunteers to straighten
shelves. Also there will be a childrens book exhibit for teachers, librarians
and public. Also noted, that the gifts to endowment fund purchase geneology
and reference books from the interest.
Mrs. Keith had no report on finding a new employee. D. Wood said that CETA
was a possibility according to the city manager. Mrs. Keith's: Pre-school
story hours begins next week. Two every day on Wednesday and Thursday for
4 weeks. Adult programs planned for May. M. Brewer suggested time change
for these programs because of school hours.
A check from the Women's Civic League will be presented to the library, Tues-
day, to purchase the Reader Printer.
N. Murphy presented revised 1976 budget.
$121.24 was paid for 1972 taxes on east property. 1973-74 we were exempt.
Revised budget approved and will be presented to city. Don Grimes wants infor-
mation concerning Ozark regional from Carol Wright. This will be presented
at the next meeting and Mr. Grimes will be invited.
