On Monday., Nov, 13, 1972
After the reading of the minutes., Mrso Murphy reported that
she had received a check for $54*27 from City Attorney David
Malone as a rebate on the taxes on the Carney propertyo She
then suggested that the city manager be asked to take over
CD,
the renting of that propertyo Moved and passed (Rudolph/Murphy).
Mrs. Keith presented the monthly report of circulation.,
registration, and petty cash (attached), and noted that the
lights were in sad need of attention,
Mrs. Mur*,W gave the October financial report (attached) and
informed us that the city water department had agreed to
reduce the water rate by the amount of the sewer tax on the
water used in the air-conditioning equipment. She also stated:
Doris Cook will audit the books this year;
the a/c towers have arrived but are not yet installed;
the budget has not been requested but is apt to be soon,
After voting to replace one typewriter and buy two filing
cabinets, the board decided to have a special meeting on
Nov. 20 to consider the budget.
