on Monday, May 8, 1972, with City Manager Donald Grimes and
City Attorney David Malone present.
After the reading of the minutes Mr. Williams commented briefly
about asking the City Department of Buildings and Grounds to fix
light fixtures and to do some touch—up painting.
Six bids for the Reed property were op6ned, and the high bid --
$e8251.66 from Mr. Ray White --was accepted. Mr. Williams asked
Mr. Malone to complete the transfer.
Mr. Grimes offered to investigate the possibility of Federal
funding of expansion of the library grounds, the extension
to the east being the consideration. Mr. Williams volunteered
to approach Cy Carney on the matter.
Mrs. Keith gave the monthly report of registration, circulation,
and petty cash (attached).
Mrs. Murphy presented the monthly treasurL-imps report (attached).
