The Board of the Fayetteville Public Library met at 4 p.m.
on Mondays February 14, 1972. In the absence of the chairman
Mr. Webb Williams, the secretary presided. s
After the reading of the minutes, Mrs. Keith gave the
January report of circulation, registration, and petty
cash (attached.) and mentioned that our neighbors to the
east had on occasions been parking in the exit to the
parking lot.
Mrs. Murphy gave her January report (attached) but
noted that the favorable balance was a result of an
advance of $2200 from thecity and did not reflect
sudden affluence. Incidentally, Arkansas Western
has repaired the lights in the parking lot but is
not allowed to give us another light for the drop -box*
Mr. David Malone, the city attorney, was authorized to
proceed with the updating of the abstract to the Read
property and to publish notice of sale, the cost not
to exceed $75•
