The.'Bo'ard of the Fayetteville Public Library met at 4 p.m.
V -on Monday, Dec. 13, 1971, with all members present.
After the reading of the minutes, Mr. -viilliams reported:
that the Ozark Window Co. had not yet repaired the window;
that the Read house would be advertised for sealed bids
by the city attorney;
that board members Wylie and Rudolph be aprointed to
confer with the city attorney about the property and
about the action to be taken on over—due books.
Mrs. Keith gave the report on circulation, registrations and
petty cash (attached). She also called attention to
the inadequacy of the lighting, the leaking of the
roof, the slow return of over—due books, and the
usurpation of library parking space b y invaders
from the east.
Mrs. Murphy, after noting that the bill for light repairs
had amounted to $ 215.68 in October, presented the
November financial report (attached). She agreed to
request that the city re—instate the budget cut in
order to maintain the present level of.library service.
The salary budget she x°eported in good shape within
the obvious limitatioiis. A
Ieir. Shelton moved that the usual Christmas bonuses be
awarded. Passed
