Minutes of July 21,1969
The Board. of Trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library held a
special meeting on July 21 to examine the architect's plans and spec-
ifications for the addition to the libra r.The time was 4:00 p.m.. 4'_
Present:Board members:Mr.Webb Williams,Mrs.Lowell Chaney,Mr.Ted Wylie,
O.W. McMillen;
Regional Librarian:Mrs.Carol Wright;
Architect:Mr.Warren Seagraves.
It was voted to approve the architect's plans and specifications
for the addition to the library and to set bids tentatively for
August 14 or 28,the decision to be made by Mr.Seagraves after con-
sultation with local prospective bidders.
With reference to the problem of securing easements from owners of
adjacent property for drainage from the southeast corner of the lot
on which the addition to the library will be built,it was the sense
of the Board to request the good offices of City officials to se-
cure such easements.
The board adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
