Present:Board members:Mr.Webb Williams,Mrs.Lowell Chaney,Mr.Ted Wylie,
Mr.Ellis Shelton,O.W.MeMillen;
Libra.rians:Mrs.Cartol Wright,Mrs.Graee Keith.
A statement concerning September and the minutes of October 14 were
read and. approved.
The report of the treasurer showed a balance of $6,654.64 for October
and $1,714.14 in the house rent fund,
The report of the librarian showed a grand total circulation for
October of 130822,an icrease of over 1,200 in comparison with October
1967. Registration this October was 336,an increase of 95 over against
October a year ago.
In response to the request of the 0 E 0 for the use of the meeting Lp
room,the chairman reported commitment for the remainder of the current
year only.
It was agreed to continue our commitment to the Dale Carnegie group
for the use of the meeting room at $10.00 per meeting and. to pay
Mr.Omohundro $x.00 for his extra services.
It is recorded that the board is not requesting the City of Fayette-
ville for an increase to our budget for 1969 from the city.
The board adjourned at 4:38 p.m.
