Minutes of August 14.,1967
The Board of Trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library held its regular
monthly meeting on August 14,1967 at 4:00 p.m.in the board room.
Present:Board members:Mr.Webb Willisms,Mrs.Lowell Ckaney,Mr.Ted Wylie,
O.W.McMillen;
Librarians:Mrs.Hazel Deal,Mrs.Grace Keith.
The minutes of May 8 were read and approved.
The report of the treasurer showed a balance of $9,153.24 on August 1.The
house rental fund now stands at $754.14.
The report of the librarian showed a grand total circulation of 18,914
for the month of July,en increase of almost one thousand over July,1966.
There were 173 new registrants.
Record is made of the fact that Mr.Metcalfe has donated a fourth set of
art slides.
Plans were made for roof repairs and filling in holes in the parking lot.
The board adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
