Minutes of March 13,1967
The Board. of Trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library met in regular
session on March 13,1967 Rt 4:00 p.m.in Mrs.Dealfs office.
Present:Board members:Mr.V4ebb iVilliams,Mrs.Lowell Chaney,Mr.Bllis Shelton,
Mr. Ted Wylie, 4.W.McMillenj
Librarians;Mrs.Fazel Deal,Mrs.Grace Keith.
The minutes of February 13 were read and approved after being corrected.
The report of the treasurer showed a balance of $9,084.88 on March 1.
The report of the librarian showed a grand total circulation for February
of 11,606 over against 11,308 for February of 1966.RegistrRtion figures
were:adult 108,juvenile 23,a total of 1319the total for 1966 was 122.
It was agreed to appoint Francis Lofland to replace Kathy Baker,who
resigned. There is no salary change.
The chairman reported that the questlon of widening the street had been
brought up by the city manager.It was the sense of the Board that it was
desirablT and that we were in agreement to have our side of the library
