Minutes of December 13,1965
The Board of Trustees of the Fayetteville Public Library held its
regular monthly session at 4:00 p.m.on December 13,1965 at the
First National Bank.
Present:Board memberssMr.Webb Williams,Mrs.Lowell Chaney,
Mr.Ellis Shelton,O.W.McMillen;
Librarian:Mrs.Grace Keith.
Mrs,Chaney presented the report of the treasurer for November.The
report showed a balance of $6826.90 on December 1.
it was voted to allocate the sum of $150,twenty-five each for the
library staff and the custodian,for a Christmas bonus.
Mrs.Keith presented the report of the librartan.for November;there
wasagrar_d total circulation of 11,592 for the month,anO increase
over November of 1964 of 615.Total registrations were 239 over
against 180 for the same month in 1964.
Mrs.Keith gave interesting information concerning the opening of
new libraries in CrawforCounty,now a part of the Ozarks Regional
Library.
The meeting adjourned at 4:47 p.m.
